Is WFYA FCA regulated? Our FCA status explained

Reviewed by Luca Scalzo, Director, WFYA Limited · Last reviewed

WFYA Limited (FRN 1023831) is an appointed representative of ITC Compliance Limited, which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FRN 313486). This means WFYA is not authorised by the FCA in its own right: ITC Compliance is our principal and is responsible for the regulated credit broking activities we carry out.

We are a credit broker, not a lender.

    What does appointed representative mean?

An appointed representative is a firm that carries out regulated activities on behalf of an FCA authorised firm, called the principal. The principal takes regulatory responsibility for what the appointed representative does under that arrangement. Both firms appear on the FCA Register.
